Donations Coordinator:
You get to bring this all together!
We will assign multiple drop box locations to you. You will arrange to either pick up or have items dropped off to you from the collections leaders. You get to lovingly pack a bag for each child. Try to have at minimum a change of clothing, underwear socks and a comfort item. We hope to get enough donations so that each child gets a comfort item, pajamas, full change of clothing including socks and underwear, blanket and school supplies or crayons and coloring book. Keep in mind that it should be for a specific size and gender. You can also add a description, such as Superhero theme, sports theme, pink etc. Add a note that was donated or write one of your own to let the child know we love them! Print out a tag and fill out the information. Once you have your packs ready, load them into a box, trash bag or any other container you want to use. Add the donations tag to the container and let us know you have a pick up ready or let us know you are dropping it off at your local DCF office! We are working with the governors office and DCF to get items to the proper place and trying to keep donations local. To those of you collecting outside of the Boston area we are going to try to keep the items within your local Child service office department. If you have contact information we would love to be in touch with them! We are looking for coordinators who want to help be the bridge between DCF and our project.
