​How to help
There are two main ways to help: Start a collection box at a local business or collect items from friends and family, or volunteer to help us organize all of our donations!

Collection Leader
These volunteers contact businesses to find a location, print the information in the Collection Box section, set it up and then collect donations on a weekly or as needed basis. They then arrange a drop off or pick up to a donations coordinator.
Donations Coordinator
A coordinator will collect items from the Collection Leaders, and pack the items for delivery to DCF. We will pack everything a child needs for the first day of their new life in foster care. A change of clothing, a comfort item, pajamas, school supplies and toiletries will go into a backpack or other bag. They will be gender specific and for a specific size range. We have tags to print so you simply assemble, tag and send it off to a child in need. Don't forget to add a note from our group!

We have had such an amazing amount of support! We have so many items coming in that we will now be packing and delivering them to DCF directly. A big thank you to Gov. Charlie Baker's office for helping us make sure each donated item gets in the hands of children who need it.
