ABOUT US

Nicole Doyle and the South Shore Moms group were heartbroken as we followed the story of Baby Doe, and when we found out her name and local address we knew we had to do something. When we watched piles of toys be left at her memorials, we thought that children in need could really use those items. We followed other groups plans who have been doing this for years to understand the process. We want children to have everything they need for thier first 24 hours in care. Their world has just changed, they may not see a familiar face for weeks. Many times they are pulled out of their home with only the clothing on their backs. In order to keep them from feeling any further discomfort, we are hoping to make each child know that they are not forgotten, they are not worthless. We all love each child, and the loss of Bella has proven that. No child deserves that, and we have banded together to help provide hope to each child who receives a pack.

We are now packaging backpacks for kids and delivering them directly to DCF! They will be able to be grabbed quickly by a social worker and given to children in their moment of need.
